Growing a beard does not make a Muslim male an
‘extremist’. His beard is what distinguishes him from being a real man
to men who are effeminate and/or ashamed of being ‘men’.
A real
man lets his beard grow and trims it to follow the Sunnah/tradition of
the Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam -all for Allah, who
made the beard one of the signs of a true man.
Allah knows best.
Choose your friends carefully for evil friends
are but a curse. Evil friends are usually a bad influence and can many
times get you in trouble; evil friends are no good for you, for they
only do things that are evil.
I would rather be alone with God
Allah than be friends with a misguided sinner or hypocrite who befriends
me with a hidden/ulterior motive and who’ll just lead me to Hell.
“Befriend a crazy person and you’ll end up being crazy too.”
“Never
disclose your feelings and secrets to anyone for if one day you become
enemies they might share everything you’ve told them to others. Be close
only to Allah for Allah is the Truest of all true friends. Allah knows
best.”
Wasalaam~
God Allah guides those whom He wills and leaves astray those whom He wills. May Allah make you among the guided Muslims who acknowledge Allah as the One and Only True God. Ameen.
Allah knows best. (Note: For those who don’t like the nasheed being
played in the background, you may lower down the volume or ‘mute’) There are three levels of enjoining right and forbidding evil:
1) by stopping that evil deed (physically) with one’s hands
2) by speaking out or even writing against that evil deed (verbally)
3) by hating that evil deed (with one’s heart) Examples of evils that are forbidden in Islam (true Muslims should never do these):
[imitating shaytan/the cursed devil in any way such as in one’s eating
and drinking with one’s left hand, stealing, lying, cheating,
disrespecting one’s parents, disuniting Muslim friends, cutting off
family relations or ignoring one’s relatives, being selfish with what
one can share, being arrogant and looking down on those whom you
consider as ‘inferior’ (all of us are equal to God Allah. God Allah sees
our actions and heart/intentions, not our economical status, racial
background or looks), oppression/tyranny/bullying/mockery and committing
suicide etc.]
Anyone who does not carry out any of the above three levels of enjoining
right and forbidding wrong and instead ‘likes’ or supports the evil
action being committed then he/she could be disobeying Allah and His
Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam.
On the authority of Abu Saeed al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him)
who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam,
say, “Whoever of you sees an evil deed must then change it with his hand
(physically). If he is not able to do so, then [he must change it] with
his tongue (verbally). And if he is not able to do so, then [he must
change it] with his heart (by hating that sin/evil deed). And that is
the weakest of faith/Imaan.” (Sahih Muslim)
May Allah accept our good deeds and May Allah the Most Merciful forgive our mistakes/sins. Ameen.
NOTE:Alhamdulillah and MashaAllah I've just found out that my iphone is working after I've left it charging for many hours. I guess the reason why it wasn't turning on was because its battery level at that time was very low, probably lower than 0% even :) So inshaAllah I'll try to continue updating this blog and sharing whatever Islamic knowledge, advice and wisdom I can share with you for Allah's sake.
Lessons I've just learned: 1) don't be quick to suspicion 2) don't be quick to judge something/someone 3) don't be too hasty when hastiness will only cause more harm than good.
May Allah accept our good deeds and May Allah the Most Merciful forgive our mistakes and sins. Ameen.
Never tell lies, falsely thinking that your falsehood will never be shown.
To Allah and His righteous Muslim friends, the falsehood on the faces of liars can always be known.
You can never deceive God Allah, for God Allah knows all, sees all -He even sees the unseen and knows the unknown.
So,
to that deceitful liar who only deceives himself- if you think you can
deceive Allah then think again, know and acknowledge that clearly you
are wrong.
Allah knows the Truth and knows what is false… Allah knows you well and to Him we belong.
May Allah accept our good deeds and May Allah forgive all our wrongs. Ameen.
The level of our Imaan (faith) increases every time we remember Allah and do many good deeds sincerely for Allah’s sake.
The
level of our Imaan (faith) may decrease every time we prefer this
material world and temporal life over the Hereafter, every time we spend
some hours without any remembrance of Allah and every time we commit a
sin either intentionally, ignorantly, out of forgetfulness or by
mistake.
To boost the level of your Imaan and keep your Imaan strong:
1)
Remember Allah often and always communicate with Allah through praying
the obligatory salahs/prayers on time and saying lots of adhkaarAllah
(words of remembrance of Allah e.g.SubhanAllah wa Bihamdih) and
du’as/prayers/supplications. 2) Do good deeds sincerely for Allah. Always remember to purify your intentions before doing any good for Allah’s sake. 3) Avoid evil deeds which Allah has forbidden and avoid being idle i.e. ‘doing nothing’ or ‘just hanging out’.
Keep
learning about our religion Islam and keep sharing our Islamic
knowledge for Allah’s sake. May Allah the Most Merciful forgive us and
May Allah accept our good deeds always. Ameen.
One of the proofs in the Qur’an which shows that true Muslims don’t and have never spread Islam ‘by the sword’:
“For you is your religion and for me my religion.”(Qur’an Surat Al-Kaafirun)
I am a Muslim.
I will not fight you nor bring any harm to you or to your loved ones because we are different in terms of our religion.
I’ll let you follow your faith as you let me follow mine’s.
Know
that out of mercy and for Allah’s sake, I will still invite… invite and
call you to the only faith that is right -ISLAM: The faith of all of
God’s Prophets, sent to all mankind.
Five things which I believe will come to every tyrant who oppresses and commits evil against Allah’s creations:
1) Allah’s curse 2) The curse of Allah’s angels 3)
Du’as/supplications prayed against him, complaints of many Muslims to
Allah against him. There is no barrier between Allah and the
du’as/supplications of the oppressed, even if the oppressed/unjustly
mistreated is a sinner. 4) His evil deeds will be returned to him in the exact same form or much worse 5)punishment in this world, his grave, on the Day of Judgment and/or in Hell.
WISDOM:
If God Allah made everybody’s lives perfect, always full of happiness,
laughter, smiles, serenity and enjoyment THEN there’d be no need for
creating Heaven.
If God Allah kept this earth free of every sin so that everyone of us in all parts of the universe is sinless THEN there’d be no need for creating Hell.
If God Allah always stopped every evil, crime and injustice from taking
place, and if there was not a single tyrant that ever lived THEN
there’d be no need for the Day of Judgment.
If this life was
not created as a trial and all of us weren’t created as tests for one
another then there’d be no need for the creation of Heaven, Hell and the
Day of Judgment.
AstaghfurAllah. Yes, whether you are Muslim
or non-Muslim, you are accountable for all of your actions and WILL be
judged by God Allah on Judgment Day. Wasalaam
Giving advice is like throwing a ball. At
times, you can give a strong throw (with strong words, warnings,
rhetorical questions etc.) or you can throw it softly (with lots of kind
of words, compliments, positive remarks etc.).
At times, the
person you’re passing the ball to may catch it or they may get hit by it
hence dislike you for it. It all depends on how you give your advice
and the kind of person you are advising.
Remember to always do all good deeds for Allah’s sake, especially when advising. May Allah accept our good deeds. Ameen.
The example of the ignorant unbeliever who
misjudges the Noble Qur’an through only one verse and does not consider
the other verses is that of a dog who considers itself as a four-legged
animal yet cannot admit that it is indeed a dog OR a fool who admits
that his entire family and generation are lunatic because one of them
(who happens to be himself) is incredibly insane.
Read the Whole Qur’an before you judge the Qur’an, Judge yourself before God Allah will judge you on Judgment Day, Don’t judge Islam through one imperfect human and for God’s sake use your mind… if you got one.
Note:This
is in response to an unbeliever who claims that the Qur’an teaches
nothing but warfare, which is an absolute lie and is an obvious proof of
that guy’s insanity and epic ignorance.
13 Good Deeds You Can Do At Work/School As Muslims
1)Remembering Allah every day and night. Saying “SubhanAllah
wa Bihamdih”, “Laa ilaaha ilAllah wahdahu la shareeka Lah Lahul Mulk wa
Lahul Hamd wa Huwa ‘ala kully shai-in Qadeer” and “AstaghfurAllah” 100
times everyday.
Allah,
the Most Merciful said, "Those who remember Allah while standing, sitting and lying on
their sides, and mediate on the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying)
'Our Lord! You have not created (all) this in vain! Glory be to you! Save us
then from the torment of the Fire'." (Qur’an Surat An-Nisa Verse:191)
2)Read, recite or
memorize from the Noble Qur’an.
It was narrated that the Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu
‘alaihi wa sallam said, “Read the Qur’an, for verily it will
come on the Day of Judgment as an intercessor for its companions.” (Sahih
Muslim)
3)While maintaining a cheerful disposition, say ‘Salaam
alaikum’ to as many Muslims as you can greet, and always respond to the salaams
of every Muslim you meet. Whoever says “Assalaamu
Alaikum” (Peace be upon you) ten rewards are written down for him. Whoever says
“Assalaamu Alaikum wa rahmatullah” (Peace and Allah’s mercy be upon you) for
him twenty rewards are written down and he who says “Assalaamu Alaikum wa
rahmatullahi wa barakatuh” (Peace and Allah’s mercy and Allah’s blessings be
upon you) thirty rewards are written down for him.
4)When a Muslim sneezes and says “Alhamdulillah” respond
with “YarhamukAllah”. Insha-Allah you earn a reward for doing that.
It was narrated that the Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu
‘alaihi wa sallam said, “Six
are the rights of a Muslim over another Muslim.” It was said to him: Allah's
Messenger, what are they? Thereupon he (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said: “When
you meet him, offer him greetings; when he invites you to a feast accept it,
when he seeks your advice/council give him, and when he sneezes and says: ‘Alhamdulillah’/"All
praise are for Allah," you say YarhamukAllah (may Allah show mercy to you)…”
(Sahih Muslim)
5)Picking up / removing anything harmful from the pathway.
It was narrated that the Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu
‘alaihi wa sallam said, “…Every
step you take toward the prayer is a sadaqa/charitable act. And removing a
harmful thing from the path is a sadaqa/charitable act.” (Sahih Muslim and
Bukhari)
6)Seek Islamic knowledge. Read an Islamic book or an
Islamic article.
It was narrated that the Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu
‘alaihi wa sallam said, “Whoever seeks a way to acquire (Islamic)
knowledge, Allah will make his way to Paradise easy.” (Sahih Muslim)
7)Enjoin what is right / encourage good deeds (e.g. calling
others to pray on time, reminding Muslims to eat and drink with their right, and
encouraging Muslims to also pray the Sunnah prayers such as salaat ad-duhaa
etc.) and forbid what is wrong / prohibit evil deeds from being committed (e.g.
discouraging bullying/oppression). Allah, the Most Merciful
said, “The (true Muslim) Believers, men and women, are protectors one of
another: they enjoin what is just, and forbid what is evil: they observe
regular prayers, practice regular charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger. On
them will Allah pour His mercy: for Allah is Exalted in power, Wise.” (Qur’an Surat At-Tawbah Verse:71)
8)Keeping your environment and surroundings clean. Being
organized. It was narrated that the
Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, “Cleanliness is half of faith.”
(Sahih Muslim)
9)Writing an Islamic essay, article, booklet, speech or
Islamic poem which you will share. Allah the Most Merciful
said, "Let there arise out of you (Muslims) a group of people inviting to
all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma`ruf (i.e., Islamic Monotheism and all
that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief
and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful (on
the Day of Judgment).'' (Qur’an Surat Al-‘Imraan Verse:104)
10)Helping a fellow Muslim in only ways that are good/right (e.g.
tutoring a Muslim, helping a Muslim with his/her household chores, helping them
carry their things etc.) It was narrated that the
Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, “…If
anyone fulfills his brother’s needs, Allah will fulfill his needs…” (Sahih
Muslim and Bukhari)
11)Looking at Allah’s creation while contemplating about
Allah and His Signs.
Allah the Most
Merciful said, "Thus does Allah make clear to you His Signs: in order that
you may consider/reflect (and believe).'' (Qur’an Surat Al-Baqara Verse:219)
12)Defending one’s Muslim brother or sister when they need
to be defended such as when they are being badly spoken about, being bullied,
ridiculed, cheated or insulted in any way.
It was narrated that the Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu
‘alaihi wa sallam said, “…if one relieves a Muslim of his
troubles, Allah will relieve his troubles on the Day of Resurrection…” (Sahih
Muslim and Bukhari)
13)Conducting gatherings or circles where Islamic knowledge
is being shared and where there is dhikr/remembrance of Allah.
It was narrated that the Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam
said,"No people
sit remembering Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, without the angels surrounding
them and mercy covering them and tranquility descending on them and Allah
mentioning them to those who are with Him." (Sahih Muslim)
Other good deeds you can do for Allah's sake include: praying Sunnah salah Ad-Duhaa in the forenoon, smiling as sadaqa/charity for Allah's sake and lowering one's gaze i.e. not staring at non-Mahrams unnecessarily etc.
