Growing a beard does not make a Muslim male an ‘extremist’. His beard is what distinguishes him from being a real man to men who are effeminate and/or ashamed of being ‘men’.
A real man lets his beard grow and trims it to follow the Sunnah/tradition of the Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam -all for Allah, who made the beard one of the signs of a true man.
