.: ADVICE: Do Good Deeds For Allah's Sake To Meet Allah Smiling At You And Proud Of You On Judgment Day


Doing good deeds for Allah's sake is like adding ice cubes into a glass of water.<BR><BR>The more ice cubes you place in the glass, the higher the level of water.<BR><BR>The more good deeds you do sincerely for Allah's sake, the higher the level of your Imaan (faith) or the more your Imaan becomes stronger. Allah knows best.

Examples of good deeds (in no particular order):
 1. Praying the obligatory salahs on time
2. Praying the sunnah salahs before and/or after the obligatory salahs
3. Frequently praying Dhuha salah in the forenoon
4. Frequently praying the Tahajjud salah at night, some hours before the Fajr salah
5. Saying the Adhkaar As-Sabaah in the morning
6. Saying the Adhkaar Al-Masaa in the evening
7. Saying "SubhanAllah wa Bihamdih" one hundred times everyday
8. Saying "AstaghfurAllah" and "La ilaha ilAllah wahdahu laa shareeka Lah, Lahul Mulk wa Lahul Hamd wa Huwa 'ala kully shay-in Qadeer." one hundred times everyday
9. Showing respect to your mother, father and/or 'guardians' who take care of you
10. Always obeying your parents as long as what they are commanding you to do is not against Allah's Commands
11. Learning about our religion Islam and implementing what we learn
12. Reading and writing Islamic books, Islamic essays, Islamic poems and Islamic articles/writings for Allah's sake
13. Sharing our Islamic knowledge with others, both Muslims and non-Muslims who need guidance
14. Enjoining right/good deeds whenever you can and forbidding evil/bad deeds whenever you can
15. Smiling and keeping a cheerful and friendly disposition with fellow Muslims for Allah's sake
16. Visiting your Muslim friends and relatives for the sake of Allah from time to time
17. Telling your Muslim friend whom you love for Allah's sake that you sincerely love them for the sake of Allah, and encouraging one another to become better Muslims for Allah's sake
18. Uniting Muslims who are quarreling with one another, making peace amongst Muslims, amongst sisters, amongst brothers
19. Giving sincere and honest feedback or advice for those who ask
20. Helping around the house, keeping our surroundings as clean and organized as we can
21. Showing love and loyalty to those whom you know Allah loves, especially the beloved Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam by always following His Sunnah/tradition/best example.

May Allah always accept our good deeds and May Allah cause our good deeds to wipe out any of our sins and mistakes, Allah is the Most Merciful, Most Generous and Most Forgiving. Ameen.
