Allah knows best.
The foolish compete against each other in material things and in sins which lead to Hell, while the wise compete with each other in collecting as many good deeds as they can to be among the first ones to enter Heaven.
A person’s worth is not by how many material things he/she has or worldly enjoyments he/she has enjoyed. A person’s worthiness to Allah is in his/her true belief, sincere intentions to please only Allah, and in his/her good deeds that are done for Allah’s sake.
