.: ADVICE: Apologize To The Muslims You've Wronged Before You Regret On Judgment Day For All Your Wrongs

It was narrated that the Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: “If any Muslim (Muslim male or female) has oppressed his brother concerning his honor or anything else, let him ask for his pardon/forgiveness today (in this world) before the time comes when he will have neither Dinars nor Dirhams (i.e. he will be penniless). If the wrongdoer/aggressor may have some good deeds (in his account) the same would be deducted (and transferred to the account of the oppressed) in equal proportion to his wrongs, if the aggressor will have no good deeds in his account, the wrongs of the aggrieved/oppressed would be added to the account of the aggressor in equal proportion. (if the aggressor ends up without any good deeds and is left with only evil deeds because of the bad deeds being transferred from his oppressed brothers’/sisters’ account of deeds, then he/she may be sent to Hell before entering Heaven. Allah knows best. May Allah keep us away from Hell and may Allah make us among His Muslim friends whom He (Allah) will welcome in Heaven. Ameen.” [Sahih Bukhari]

“Apologizing” Poem By Sister Mariam:
To every Muslim I know and don’t know,
Whom I have offended in any way:
I’m sorry if there’s anything I owe,
Or if I’ve ever hurt you by mistake,

I’m sorry for any problem I caused,
For any arguments — if we did have —
Please forgive my forgetfulness and flaws,
Forgive if at you I have ever laughed,

I’m sorry if what I did I meant it —
If I did not mean it, I’m sorry too —
I’m sorry I acted like a ‘dimwit’,
Sorry to those I know and never knew.

Forgive — likewise, Allah will forgive you.
Forgive me please. May Allah forgive you too.

May Allah the Most Merciful forgive the sins of those who forward the above poem to their Muslim brothers and sisters. Ameen.

Note: Just because you have forgiven a Muslim does not mean that you should reluctantly be close friends with them (a Muslim is to avoid bad companions and people who may seem like a bad influence). As long as you’ve forgiven them then you have inshaAllah done your job as being a good Muslim ^_^]
